Help with Memory

We write the memory verse our kids are studying on a chalkboard, close to our dinner table.  

At dinner we discuss the verse.  It always leads to meaningful conversations about God's Word.

Reading silly poems aloud is a fun way to build phonics skills and site word recognition.  Here is a link to an author of poems that we will be studying together as a class, Kenn Nesbitt.  Have your child read these aloud over and over to you to help build their reading skills.
