Lights Out Friday

Friday began our end of year celebration:  Camp Learn A Lot
Students had a lights out day on Friday.  They danced while they used their flashlights to review sight words and math facts.  They snacked on a fishing chex mix and a pretzel fishing pole bated with a gummy worm.  To wash down their snack they drank bug juice.

Students made a lava lamp in science.

Gleaner’s Field Trip

Today the kids helped paint bricks and wood for the Gleaners garden.  So proud of them and all their hard work to help the garden be beautiful for those that come to get food from it.

Here is a picture from National Lutheran Schools Week of our class on Future Career/Favorite Sports Team Day.
