Happy second day of spring!  Mrs Hammer and I sure miss you all and are praying for you!

Jesus Time- Read over and do p.1-2 “Jesus Rides into Jerusalem” in your yellow Jesus time book “Salvation through Jesus”.  Afterwards share with someone at home how you praise Jesus.

Phonics- Watch lesson 109 suffix -ous on Seesaw.  Do phonics 109 worksheet side only, afterwards check your answers on Seesaw. 

Math-Do lesson worksheet 105-A and 105-B and guided class practice 105A. When done check your work on Seesaw.

Spelling-Take lesson 21 spelling test on. Spellingcity.com.  Make sure to use your username and password so I can see how you did. Push the red Spelling Test Me button. See the picture below where my cursor is pointing.

Cursive-Watch the cursive lesson for the lowercase letters a and d by clicking on the links below.  You can also watch the lesson on Seesaw.  Afterwards do p. 82 and 83 in cursive.  Don’t forget to make sure you are sitting up straight and your book is positioned correctly.  See page 59 for book positioning. You can also go back and make sure all pages are complete that were already assigned.

Phonics Lesson 108- Watch the lesson on Seesaw.  Afterwards do Worksheet 108, and check the answers on Seesaw. 

Math-Do fact assessment 20-1: Subtracting 8 and 7, time your self for 3 minutes and stop.  Take a picture and send it to me on Seesaw. 

After do written assessment 20,  you can have someone read you the problems, but not give you the answers. Use the subtraction rule below to help you with the subtracting on the test.  When you are done with the test take a picture of it and send it to me on Seesaw. 

Reading- Watch the Italian Dictionary Lesson on Seesaw.  Finish filling in Italian words, their meaning, and a picture illustrating it in your Italian Dictionary. Use the poster to help you.

Math-Do the class fact practice 104 A subtracting 8 and 7 timed test, see how many you can do in 3 minutes, when done have someone grade it. Tomorrow will be the actual test so try to practice using a math facts app. or math game. Watch math lesson 104 on seesaw, do lesson worksheet 104A/B and written practice 104 worksheet side only, grade the three worksheets yourself using seesaw.

Phonics- Watch Phonics lesson 107 video on seesaw.  Do only the worksheet side of worksheet, use the answer key on seesaw to check your work.  When done read decodable reader 20 “Monkey and Donkey and Turkey” with someone.  Keep practicing it daily until you can read it fluently. 

Spelling- Play a game on spellingcity.com make sure to use username and passcode to play premium games.  You will need it Friday to take the test.

Welcome Happy Campers to your first day of virtual school!
Today’s assignments are:
-finish cursive p. 78-81. (Use the cursive writing wizard app to practice your cursive)

-record yourself on seesaw reading and spelling your sight words without looking and save it

-do one game and a practice spelling test on spelling city for list 21,  use your username and password that we taped in the front of your planner

-Listen to the read aloud of Strega Nona Meets Her Match, respond to it on Seesaw and add some new words to your Italian Dictionary
