Cursive-Complete page 94-99 in your cursive book.

Math- Go to Seesaw and do the Flower Power Activities and the Telling Time activity.
The number sentence for this array is 5 x 8=40

Reading-Go to Seesaw and Listen to me read chapter 5 from Little House in the Big Woods
Writing-I was super impressed with all your poems you wrote and shared at Poetry Around the Campfire. Great job expressing yourselves with rhyming, rhythm, repeating lines, alliterations, similes, and description. Go to page 592 in your Shurley English book. Watch the lesson on Seesaw about Acrostic poems. You can write your own acrostic poem for your mom, see sample below for ideas. I also assigned a couple different Seesaw Mother’s Day Activities. They are optional, you can choose to do any of them for someone special for Mother’s Day.

Science-Go to Seesaw and do the plant needs activity.
Optional-Plant a seed in two different similar containers.  Make sure they have holes in the bottom so they can drain.  Water it each day.  One of the containers you will put in a spot where it will get all of the things a plant needs to grow.  The other you can take away one thing that it needs to grow to see what happens.  For example: put one in a dark place where it won’t get sunlight, but make sure to water them both the same.   Each day you will record in your science notebook what you observe.  After a few weeks you can draw a conclusion by comparing the two seeds that were planted.

You could also just record the changes of one plant if you have already planted it.  Each day keep records of its changes in your science notebook.

Have a great weekend celebrating Mother’s Day🥰❤️🌼🌷
