Last day of Virtual School, Friday May 22nd

Congratulations on completing 2nd Grade!  I am so proud of all the hard work you all have put into this year.  You worked through the online learning so well, and continued to learn even when we had to be apart.  I will always cherish our year together and all the memories that we made learning, and growing closer to Jesus.  Here is a Poem for you☺️❤️

Jesus Time-Watch Mr. Petzold's closing chapel live-streamed on the Trinity Website at 10:30 today.  If you cannot watch it at that time, it will be archived so you can view it at a later time.  Click on the  Trinity Website.  It will be about 15 minutes long.

Math-Pretend you and your BEST friend went fishing.  Go to Seesaw and do the Gone Fishing Activity.  Record the fish that you caught on the graph.

Writing-Go to Seesaw and write Mrs. Huff a letter so she can get to know you before you start 3rd grade. The activity is called End of the School Year-Letter to Next Year’s Teacher.  I will print them out and give them to her, or you can print it out and handwrite it.  If you handwrite it you can bring it to me when you come pick up your end of year items.

Shurley Review-Do the Adverb/Adjective Boom Cards on Seesaw.  When done do the Camp Learn a Lot Mad-Lib on Seesaw.

Reading/Social Studies-Listen to me read Little House in the Big Woods Chapter 10-11. There are still two more chapters left.   I will record the last two chapters on Seesaw for you.  You can listen to them when you have time, it does not have to done today.

Last thing to do this year is the Seesaw Activity End of the Year-I Had a Ball This Year!

Make sure to thank your parents for letting you make a tent in the house this week, if you did!  I hope you enjoyed some of the camping activities.

I can't wait to see you at our 1:00 zoom today to give you each an award, sing Happy Birthday to our summer birthday friends, and play a final camping game.  We will have a special guest join our meeting to congratulate you!

Make sure that you had a chance to watch our class imovie
